Peltier Effect

• When an electric current flows through two dissimilar conductors, depending on the direction of the current flow, the junction of the two conductors will either absorb or release heat.
•The heat absorbed or released at the junction is proportional to the electrical current. The proportionality constant is known as the Peltier coefficient.
