PELTIER EFFECT be called after a frenchwatchmaker (1785-1845.), who discovered it in 1834.
How does Peltiereffect work? If you put a drop of water in the hollow on the joint of 2 conductors or semiconductors, e.g. Sband Bi, and switch on the current, the drop would freeze If the reverse direction of the current is applied, the drop would melt.
Peltier plate coolers are usually the best method of cooling an object when the object can be attached directly to the cold plate. The direct contact allows the heat to be efficiently conducted to the thermoelectric (Peltier) modules. This keeps the system operating as efficiently as possible and improves the stability and accuracy of temperature control.
